WAM Morocco 2025 Fuels Africa’s AI-Driven Industrial Acceleration with Youth, Tech & Global Allies
As GITEX Africa draws to a close today, one standout force has firmly positioned itself at the forefront of the continent’s next industrial chapter — WAM Morocco 2025.
Yesterday’s WAM Morocco Reception in Marrakech was a defining moment. Industry leaders, global media and government champions gathered with one shared vision: accelerating Africa’s industrial transformation through advanced manufacturing, smart logistics and future-ready talent.
Led by Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre and CEO of KAOUN International and Alex Nicholl, Vice President of New Industries, the discussion set the tone for WAM Morocco 2025, which will debut in Casablanca from 28–30 October 2025.
“WAM Morocco will transform critical sectors of the economy by leveraging AI and DeepTech to make processes more efficient, reduce costs and build a sustainable future. This platform is about connecting the boardroom to the factory floor — and bridging students into the workforce,” said LohMirmand.
At the core of WAM Morocco lies a bold mission: to unite innovators, manufacturers and investors committed to building Africa’s industrial backbone. With Morocco already recognised as a leading hub for electric vehicle production and modern factory infrastructure, the momentum is clear. From smart robotics and blockchain to advanced logistics and quantum computing, the event will spotlight the key drivers of Africa’s industrial ascent.
But this movement is not just about technology, it’s about people. Upskilling and youth empowerment were central themes of the conversation. WAM Morocco aims to support the next generation of industrial talent by providing a platform to explore the very technologies reshaping the production lines of tomorrow.
This transformation is only possible through partnership. WAM Morocco’s close collaboration with His Excellency Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, reflects the high-level commitment driving this vision forward. The Minister’s support reinforces Morocco’s national ambition to become not just a regional but a global hub for advanced manufacturing.
“We’re not just bringing a show to Morocco,” LohMirmand added. “We’re bringing a focused specialist ecosystem of experts to fast-forward industrial growth and ensure Morocco becomes a manufacturing power hub — not only for Africa but for the world.”
Mark your calendars: 28–30 October 2025, Casablanca. WAM Morocco will gather global leaders, visionary investors and tech trailblazers to shape the future of manufacturing and logistics in Africa.
This week’s reception at GITEX Africa was just a preview — the real transformation begins now.
